Chilling Pictures creates and facilitates compelling stories
across all screens that inspire or provoke audiences.
Chilling Pictures is based in Queensland, Australia and was founded by Della Churchill in 2003. It is currently developing a range of features and tv projects with well developed trans-media strategies. Features include MELT an erotic drama, THE WITNESS TREE, a supernatural thriller and PINK VIKING a screwball comedy.
Our first production tele feature PRESERVATION was written and directed by Sofya Gollan and financed by SBS, the Australian Film Commision and NSW Film and TV Office. It was nominated for three AFIs, and Australian Writers Guild Award and a Critics Circle Award. Honoured at the 2004 Banff TV Market with an Hors de Concours, PRESERVATION sold in three territories.
Chilling Pictures collaborates with individual creatives and other companies to diversify its slate and maintain relevancy in a time when audience habits are rapidly evolving. Development funding has been received from Screen QLD, Screen NSW and Screen Australia.
